How to invite the Chairman of the District Council to an event or function

If you wish to invite the Chairman to attend an event,  please send an invitation to the Jane Bosworth, Members's Secretary, at chairman@newforest.gov.uk, or post your invitation to:

Appletree Court
Beaulieu Road
Lyndhurst SO43 7PA

Please provide the following information in or with your invitation:

· The nature of your event

· When your organisation started

· Your organisation's aims and activities

· Membership

· Achievements

· What do you consider to be special about your organisation?

Please do not contact the Chairman direct or send correspondence to his/her home address.  All communication should come through the Members' Secretary at the above address.

Once it is established whether the Chairman is able to attend, you will be asked to complete the docs icon 'Invitation Questionnaire' [400kb]. You might find it useful to look at the questionnaire before issuing your initial invitation.
