How do I appeal against a decision?

If the Council refuses permission or imposes conditions it will tell you why. If you are unhappy or unclear about the reasons for refusal or the conditions imposed, talk to the officer who processed your application.

Strict time limits apply for making an appeal, further information is available from the Planning Inspectorate. Please note that only applicants can appeal against planning refusals or conditions. There is no appeal process for third parties (e.g. neighbours) to appeal against a planning permission being granted.
