What files do the Council hold with regard to a planning application and which plans are displayed at Committee?

The Council has gone substantially paperless in terms of how it deals with planning applications.

The only file that contains all plans, comments received, correspondence with applicants and other supporting information is the electronic file as viewable on our website.   This does not contain copies of routine consultation letters, routine correspondence with an applicant/agent and copies of the site notice all of which are held on our planning application management system. In addition we also hold a paper Officer working file which solely contains the application forms and key submission documents, the submitted plans and any plans subsequently received that will specifically be referred to in the decision notice.

It is the submitted plans (most up to date version, not superseded plans) that will be referred to in the decision notice and made available to the Planning Development Control Committee.
