A337 SHRUBBS HILL ROAD LYNDHURST

A Plant Lux (contact ethernetsurvey@aplant.com Tel: 0370 050 0792) have requested overnight closures at the above location, as follows, in order to carry out BT cabling works. ROAD TO BE CLOSED: A337 Shrubbs Hill Road Lyndhurst between its junction with Sandy Lane and its junction with A35 High Street. 2100hrs Monday 16th May- 0600hrs Tuesday 17th May 2100 Tuesday 17th May- 0600hrs Wednesday 18th May ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the southern point of closure southwest via Sandy Lane to its junction with Chapel Lane, northwest via Chapel Lane to its junction with A35 Bournemouth Road; east via Bournemouth Road to the northern point of closure. Through traffic for destinations to the east will be diverted at Goose Green via Chapel Lane.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE, A337 SHRUBBS HILL ROAD LYNDHURST

 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) that New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the Traffic Authority, Hampshire County Council, owing to works in connection with B.T. cabling works considers that the closure to the road as specified below should come into force without delay: ‑

 

ROAD TO BE CLOSED

That length of A337 Shrubbs Hill Road Lyndhurst between its junction with Sandy Lane and its junction with A35 High Street.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

From the southern point of closure southwest via Sandy Lane to its junction with Chapel Lane, northwest via Chapel Lane to its junction with A35 Bournemouth Road; east via Bournemouth Road to the northern point of closure. Through traffic for destinations to the east will be diverted at Goose Green via Chapel Lane.

 

PERIOD OF CLOSURE:  From 16th May 2016 for a period of five days or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 nights, between 2100hrs and 0600hrs only)

 

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
