Armed Forces Flag flies in the forest

New Forest District Council is supporting Armed Forces Day by flying the flag to honour the Armed Forces community.

Armed Forces Day flag raising June 16 On Monday 20 June, NFDC Chairman Councillor Goff Beck raised the Armed Forces Day flag outside the council's Appletree Court offices in Lyndhurst. The flag will fly in Lyndhurst and at the council's offices at Lymington Town Hall until the end of Armed Forces Day on Saturday 25 June.

Councillor Beck was joined by the leader of the Council  Cllr Barry Rickman , Chief Executive Bob Jackson and Mrs Christine Beck.

Armed Forces Day is a great way to raise awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty's Armed Forces. To find out more about Armed Forces Day, visit https://www.armedforcesday.org.uk/
