Service Manager - Business Improvement and Customer Services

The Service Manager Business Improvement and Customer Services is Rebecca Drummond.

 This service employs approximately 34 full time employees delivering front line customer services through the customer services centre and information offices. 

Organisational support is provided by the communications team, the design room, performance management and business improvement activities.

The customer service centre takes approximately 3000 calls each week dealing with enquiries and transactions for most council services.

The information offices have in the region of 140,000 visits each year.   The service provides frontline information. They take approximately £14 million in payments each year and 40,000 switchboard calls.

The communications team is the key contact for the press and communication with residents.  

The design room provides a high quality graphic design service in support to many frontline services, securing the brand and image reputation of the council.
