Our Chairman hosts her Christmas charity dinner

Councillor Christine Ward, Chairman of New Forest District Council, has held her Christmas charity dinner in the Palace House, Beaulieu, for 35 Guests. (Saturday 9 December)

Guests at the wonderfully decorated Palace House were entertained by two talented young performers. Rosie Gill, age 14 playing the harp,  and 16 year old vocalist Suzanne Poole. Both performed on the Montagu Theatre Stage erected in the drawing room and the dinner was served in the grand dining hall.
The raffle and auction raised £1625.00 towards the Chairman's chosen charities, 1st Opportunities and It's Your Choice.
Chairman Cllr Christine Ward would like to thank everyone who helped or who donated prizes, including Elliot's of Lymington for sponsoring the young performers, and Chewton Glen for donating a tree-house suite prize for the auction.
