Public Notice Advertising

Changes to the way public notices are published by NFDC

New Forest District Council, from 1 April 2018, will place statutory public notice adverts in a free publication called the Hampshire Independent.

Statutory public notice adverts are usually placed in local newspapers that people often have to pay to buy. This new publication is free to pick up and covers the whole district, which makes it less costly to the taxpayer than paying for many different adverts in different newspaper areas.

By publishing the notices in a free newspaper the council continues to make public notices widely available in a cost-effective way.

You can also read a copy of the Hampshire Independent online, or visit Hampshire Media's website.

Alternatively, please contact Hampshire Media at hampshiremedia@aol.com or call 01962 859559 who can arrange for a copy to be posted to you.

The list of stockists where you can pick up your free newspaper are listed below and is also printed on page 2 of the newspaper.
