Ford Civil Engineering (contact is Tel: 01202 813186) have requested a temporary road closure at the above location, from Wednesday 20th June, for a likely maximum duration of 3 days, in order to carry out carriageway resurfacing and lining works.

ALEXANDRA ROAD LYMINGTON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the traffic authority, Hampshire County Council, proposes to make an Order to allow carriageway resurfacing and lining works to be carried out, as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That length of Alexandra Road Lymington, between its junction with Pamplyn Close and its junction with Bramble Walk.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

From the eastern point of closure, east via Alexandra Road to its junction with A337 Southampton Road; south via Southampton Road/Queen Street to its junction with Priestlands Place; west and southwest via Priestlands Place/Stanford Hill to its junction with Highfield; west and northwest via Highfield and Southern Road to its junction with Highfield Avenue; west via Highfield Avenue to its junction with Highfield Road; northwest via Highfield Road to its junction with Fullerton Road; north via Fullerton Road to its junction with Alexandra Road; north via Alexandra Road to the southern point of closure and vice versa (except at Stanford Hill, north via Stanford Road)                 

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 20th June 2018 for a period of 3 months or until completion of works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days.)

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
