Appletree Careline sponsor local youth football team

Our Community Alarm service 'Appletree Careline' has sponsored the kit of local team the Fawley Falcons Tornadoes to help spread the word about the vital lifeline for the community.

'Appletree Careline' is a 24 hour, 365 days a year community alarm service where customers can raise a call for emergency assistance by pressing a radio trigger or alarm button. Trained operators take the calls and assess the situation and mobilise the appropriate response. This can include 999 calls to Police, Ambulance or Fire, to a GP, or to named contacts provided by the customer.

Fawley Falcons are one of the oldest youth football teams in the Forest, having been formed in 1973. The Tornadoes are a team of u7s and have been together for six months playing in the New Forest Youth Development League.

Cllr Diane Andrews, Portfolio Holder for Community Affairs, said "Appletree Careline provide an excellent service by helping people to remain in their own homes with the reassurance that they can call for help at any time.  It's lovely to see the service being promoted in the community by these youngsters who have also benefited from the sponsorship of their team."

Paul Dyer, team coach said, "The Tornadoes and I are very thankful to Appletree Careline for sponsoring the team. The boys always turn up for games looking very smart in their new kit and hoodies"
