What you need to know about the local elections 2 May 2019

On 2 May 2019 there are local elections where you can vote for candidates to represent you at New Forest District Council, and at your Town and Parish Council.

Ballot box image Friday 12 April is the last date for applying to be included in the register of electors (if not already included) to enable you to vote at the elections on 2 May.

Monday 15 April by 5.00pm is the last date for the receipt of applications to vote by post at the elections, and Wednesday 24 April 2019 by 5.00pm, is the last date for the receipt of applications to vote by proxy.

* Please note that only when there are more nominations than there are vacancies, will an election be held. The full list of candidates and elections will be available on our website from 4:00 pm on Thursday, 4 April 2019.
