Before making alterations to your home

You must get written permission from us before starting any improvement or alteration to your home

It will not be refused without good reason

We need to ensure that all work is carried out safely, to a standard and following Planning and Building Regulations

It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary permissions, e.g. Planning Permission or Building Regulations Approval

There are other issues to be considered such as The Party Wall Act etc 1996 and Asbestos

 

When you hand-in your notice

Some types of work may be eligible for compensation

You will receive details of the scheme when you hand-in your notice

 

Unauthorised works

If works are carried out to a property without Landlord permission and more importantly not safely, you will be asked to put the property back to its original state at your own cost or alternatively we will arrange for the works and you will be recharged
