Gym inductions are offered on a 1:1 basis with one of our qualified instructors.
The instructor will discuss with you your training goals, your strengths and weaknesses and your likes and dislikes. This will enable them to offer you programme advice, as well as showing you how to use the equipment within that programme correctly and effectively in order to maximise your training.
They will run through the gym rules, safety guidelines and equipment etiquette. Plus the principles of warm-up, cool-down and stretching.
Do I have to have an induction?
Having an induction minimises the potential risk of injury to yourself and is highly recommended for those who have not used gyms before or in a while.
If you are 18yrs or over you can waiver a gym induction. You will need to complete a form at reception to do this. We still highly recommend a gym induction to allow you to get the most out of your gym sessions.
How do I arrange for an induction?
Just ask at reception or telephone 023 8028 5531 to book.
Please note, inductions must be pre booked and payment made at time of booking. Those under 16yrs attending an Induction must have a Parq (Health Questionnaire) completed and signed by their parent before/on attending their gym induction. Click here to download under 16yrs Parq [63kb]
