PN-Induction

A 1:1 experience with a fully qualified instructor

They will speak to you about your goals, your strengths and weaknesses, your likes and dislikes enabling them to give you programme advice and show you how to use the equipment correctly. They will also chat to you about gym rules, safety guidelines and equipment etiquette. Plus the principles of warm-up, cool-down and stretching will also be explained.

Why is an induction necessary?

Most importantly, to minimise the potential injury risks to yourself and other users. The induction will also show you how to use the equipment effectively in order to maximise your training effectiveness.

I am an experienced gym user, do I have to do an induction?

Not necessarily, we now offer the option to waiver a gym induction. You will need to complete a form at reception to do this. We still highly recommend a gym induction to allow you to get the most out of your gym sessions.

What do I do if I have limited or no experience of using gym equipment?

Don't worry - when you meet your instructor they will show you how to use every piece of equipment whilst explaining its benefits to you. They will then talk about your likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses and design a fitness programme to suit you.

How do I arrange for an induction?

Just ask at the reception desk in your local centre or telephone our booking line on 023 8028 5531. Please note that inductions must be pre booked and payment upon booking is required.  Or, if you have any questions please use the quick enquiry form. Those under 16yrs attending an Induction must have a  Parq (Health Questionnaire) completed and signed by their parent before/on attending their gym induction.  Click here to download under 16yrs Parq [63kb]
