New Forest Swim Academy offer tuition and coaching for all ages and abilities. Each centres academy runs a full programme of swimming lessons including pre-school, juniors and adults, from absolute beginners to more advanced stroke development including competitive, water polo, lifesaving and synchronised swimming.
Children can join Aquababes from as young as three months old and progress right the way through the levels to become life savers in their teens! We can offer nervous adult learners help and advice on how to take their first strokes or if it's tips on improving your technique that you are interested in then we can lend a hand there too.
Swim Academy is run to the Amateur Swimming Association's ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
Why should my child learn to swim?
Ensuring your child learns to swim at an early age not only provides endless health and social benefits, but could also one day save their life. Sadly, drowning is still the third most common form of accidental death in children and it only takes three seconds, so learning to swim really is an essential life skill.
