Forest Watch
Tackling rural crime and issues Forest Watch is a partnership approach to tackle issues within rural communities throughout the New Forest District. Eight partner agencies form the Core Steering Group; Hampshire Constabulary (Chair), National Park Authority, Natural England, National Farmers Union, Forestry Commission, Environment Agency, Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service and New Forest District Council.
Forest Watch has a designated website page on the National Park website that can be accessed at www.newforestnpa.gov.uk/looking-after/forest-watch. For more information about the Forest Watch scheme, contact Sgt Louise Hubble on 01590 646667, or email forestwatch@newforestnpa.gov.uk. To report any non-emergency crime or anti-social behaviour issues in the New Forest dial 101. Of particular importance to rural communities are the sections on this site; reducing metal theft and reducing burglary and other theft. See the pages listed to the left
