About the New Forest SPAA

New Forest SPAA One of the key government priorities at national, regional and local level is to create a healthier, physically active sporting nation.  This includes increasing participation in sports, having physical activities available for everyone at all levels and improving health and wellbeing.

To be able to achieve this priority, we work in partnership with key organisations that are involved in sport, physical activity and health within the district.

Who is involved?

The New Forest SPAA (Sport and Physical Activity Alliance) works with health organisations, Community Safety, the youth service, sports and other voluntary clubs, Parish Councils and education.

The following local organisations are members of the New Forest SPAA:

  • Forestry Commission
  • Natural England
  • Sport Hampshire and IOW
  • New Forest Colleges
