TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MEETING HOUSE LANE RINGWOOD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the traffic authority, Hampshire County Council, proposes to make an Order to allow for drainage works to be undertaken, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That length of Meeting House Lane Ringwood between its junction with The Furlong and its junction with High Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
From the northern point of closure, north via The Furlong to its roundabout junction with Stallards Lane/The Furlong; southeast via The Furlong to its roundabout junction with B3347 Mansfield Road; southeast via Mansfield Road to its junction with Southampton Road; south via Southampton Road to its junction with High Street; west via High Street to the southern point of closure.
The One-Way Traffic Order on the above length of Meeting House Lane will be suspended for the duration of the closure.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 19th December 2011 for a period of six months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than five days between 0800hrs and 1600hrs only on each day.)
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
