You can view full details of current planning applications and appeals, and more limited information on past decisions on our website. We aim to upload planning applications within five working days, and comments received and decisions made within two working days.
Since August 2008 the Council has taken all reasonable steps to remove personal, but not business, phone numbers, email addresses and signatures from items on our website. If you wish personal information to be removed from documents preceding that date please contact the Assistant Data Protection Officer.
Planning applications over 10 years old will only have the decision notice, related documents and plans published on the website.
All comments received are placed on a public file and will be copied to the Planning Inspectorate and Appellant if an appeal is lodged. Comments deemed inappropriate and/or offensive will not be displayed on the website. When making comments you must include your full name and postal address. Anonymous representations will not be considered.
Further information on planning applications is available from the National Planning Portal.
All objections and comments must be made by the date in any notification letter you received from us, on the site notice or on our website. No action can be taken on letters that are sent in confidence.

Please note you can register to follow the progress of an application. The NFDC Planning Online website http://planning.newforest.gov.uk/online-applications/ has the ability to notify you when the status of a planning application has been updated.
In order to use this facility, you must have registered on the Planning Online pages and be logged in. Registration is free, just click the Register button from any page and follow the instructions.
