UPDATE: Ashley Manor Farm has been deleted from preferred list of gravel pit sites.

Ashley Manor Farm, south of the A337, is now no longer a 'preferred site' in this plan.This pleasant and tranquil landscape, leading into the heart of New Milton, will not be dug up to provide sand and gravel, then filled with waste, over a period of at least 20 years.This large site is right at the bottom of Station Road, New Milton, south of Ashley and to the east of Barton-on-Sea, as ringed on the map below. Residents in all areas of the town will not be affected.
