Connect with your council. Details of how the council consults with its residents and opportunities to be consulted with

Connecting with youWe are eager to find out your views on many of the issues, and council initiatives, which affect you, your family and your community.

Because communication and consultation is all about you, this area of the council's website is dedicated to finding out what you think about many of the services, facilities, and opportunities that New Forest District Council offers.

This area is aimed at encouraging interaction with website users, and asks for feedback on a range of topics and services.  It will be used to gather information through surveys and improve communication between us and you in a very unique way.

Forest Thoughts – the council's new interactive consultation forum

This is your opportunity to put forward your views and opinions. Tell us what you feel about issues that affect you and what you like least and most about living in the district by leaving your comment.

Throughout the year there will be an opportunity to join in on specific consultations and have a say on topics such as health and wellbeing, tourism, health and leisure centres, and customer access. Registered members can send comments in a variety of ways including video, MP3, image and text.
