As part of the terms of reference for the Accountancy Service, the Service is required to continually monitor and report on income and expenditure.
This monitoring report is sent to Officers and Members throughout the year. Any additional income received or expenditure requirements are reported and approved, if agreed by Members.
The performance against the proportionate amount of the annual budget is also shown for comparative purposes. The report is summarised to Portfolio level, but also includes monitoring of the Council's capital expenditure programme and the Housing Revenue Account.
