You may have received an email from firstname.lastname@example.org asking you to click a link to confirm who is eligible to register to vote at your address. Please be reassured that this email contact is legitimately from New Forest District Council and you do not need to contact us unless you need help with your registration.
The annual canvass starts in July and will run until November 2021.
The revised electoral register will be published on 1 December 2021. It's really important that everyone who is entitled to vote is able to do so. Making sure you provide the necessary information when it is needed will ensure the process runs smoothly.
Please respond online where possible, this is particularly helpful in the current public health situation, as it will help avoid the need for home visits from canvassers. Details of how to respond are provided below.

If we held an email address for you we will send you an email in July. The email will guide you on how to respond using your access codes online.
If we do not hold an email for you or you have chosen to opt out of being contacted via email we will send you a letter in August. This letter will help you to respond using your access codes online.
