Central and West Hampshire Youth Employment Hub

New Forest District Council and partner local authorities Eastleigh Borough Council, Test Valley District Council and Winchester City Council have have joined together to launch the 'Central and West Hampshire Youth Employment Hub'.

This is to connect, listen to and provide solutions for young people to find employment and help secure their futures.

The Central and West Hampshire Youth Employment Hub, in partnership with Department of Work and Pensions, will be providing face-to-face support from 1 November at a variety of locations within each of the four local authority areas.

This fully funded project aims to reduce the barriers for young people aged 16-24.

This is now even more important as Covid 19 has impacted on their education and employment opportunities.

At the hub, young people will be able to gain help, support and advice on a range of training and employment opportunities and will be informed about local activities, such as local youth groups, sports clubs, drama, art groups and activity sessions.

The project will work closely with employers, training providers, schools and colleges.

Local Hubs for Face to Face Support

Brockenhurst College: Fridays from 10am to 4pm, starting 12th November.

Totton College: Thursdays from 10am to 4pm, starting 4th November.
